Today Hunter Thomas Rapp turned 11 years old. Amazing! I remember bringing him home from the hospital. As a new mom I was so nervous. I probably checked to make sure he was still breathing at least six times during the ride from the hospital to our house. Hunter is a wonderful son and we are super proud of him. We love you HTR! I think he had a great day. Todd made him a special chocolate chip biscuit this morning to start off his birthday.
In other news, we also had our ultrasound today to see new baby. Just as we were walking in to the doctor's office Todd said, "Should we find out if it is a boy or girl?" Yep, we wavered...but just for a moment. We stayed the course and told the ultrasound tech that we didn't want to find out. She did a great job of showing us baby, but avoiding the anatomy that would reveal the baby's sex. What a blessing it was to see two arms, two legs, a brain, a little heart, kidneys, etc. All praise to God for creating this little one. We are thankful! And our sweet doctor just gushed about how excited she will be to deliver the baby and then tell us the big news in the operating room. That will be so awesome! Very likely this new one will arrive on or near April 12, 2013. Todd is hoping for the 12th - it is his favorite number and it reminds him of Roger Staubach. I love my husband!

December
In December we have...
been having fun with our Elf on the Shelf...
enjoying yogurt...
wearing cute stocking caps...
accidentally visiting Silver Dollar City an hour and a half before it opens, so we left and went to Andy's instead...
and hosting birthday parties! Yep, Hunter turns 11 this month so we had a birthday party for him this weekend. We rented the pool at the Music City Center and the kids had a great time. That is Hunter with the bucket on his head.
Everybody on the raft!
Lots of smiles.
Aunt Alexis is back in town. Hooray! She helped out at the birthday party.

Collins...Todd...
Two quick updates...
Collins is walking. Each day she chooses to walk a little more than to crawl. What a fun stage this will be!
Todd was a banana! Some of the guys served breakfast this morning in the Kanakuk Director's Building. Todd was in charge of waffles and did so dressed as a banana. He is a funny husband. I love him!

December is fun!
There is always an abundance of fun in the month of December. Here are some photos from the last few days.
Hunter was dressed and ready for Awanas. All of our boys have enjoyed Awanas so much this year and have been highly motivated to learn their verses. What a blessing.
Early birthday celebration for Hunter. KK and Boompah were in town so Hunter got to open his present. He has been devouring this new Lego book.
The Krispy Kreme Cruiser had an event at the Branson store. We stopped by to see KK and Boompah and to spin the prize wheel. Here is Carter doing his happy dance after he won a prize.
Bronwyn and Collins enjoying the fun at Krispy Kreme.
Collins enjoyed playing inside the bus.
Want to see one of the prizes we won at Krispy Kreme? 2XL boxers!
Boys all decked out for Christmas Camp at church. This was such a fun night for them.

Sweet Husband!
I love the man the God gave me as a husband. Truly he is a perfect choice for me. Just a thankful post today. Todd, I love you lots! Thank you this morning for taking the boys to the Lowe's Build It clinic and to play basketball so that I could have time to work on some details at the house. You are a servant and a leader for our family.

Connor
We had a funny conversation today with Connor. My parents were asking Connor about caring for his pet hamster.
Todd: "Connor, how often do you refill his water?"
Connor: "Whenever it is empty."
We all laughed and Todd tried to rephrase his question.
Todd: "How many times have you refilled his water?"
Connor: "I haven't ever refilled it."
Oops, hope the hamster is doing OK!

Recent
Last Saturday three of the boys played in a Dodgeball Tournament. It was pretty low key, but the boys had fun. Colton never wanted quit playing.
Collins' hair is getting longer every day so most of the time I pull it up out of her eyes. When it is time to take the hairband out, she has a crazy head of hair. It goes in every direction.
I love this expression!
Tonight Todd gave Collins a bath and she was so happy!
Our family camera died so we just purchased another one. I can't wait to take some new pictures with it and put them on the blog.
