Three Weeks

I can't believe that we have been in Houston for three weeks. Overall I would say that our transition has been so smooth. The kids are having a great time and we love Grace Bible Church. We have been warmly welcomed by many of the families who attend GBC. Todd's job keeps him away all day so that has been something new. I am used to having him around a lot more. We do miss our sweet Branson friends and the familiar routine of home. We have started to look at some houses in Houston. The hardest part may be simply trying to decide what part of Houston we want to live in. Todd got the new license plates for our cars this week so we are officially driving "Texas" vehicles.

Here are a few photos from Todd's phone and our Texas activities. Carter helped Collins blow out the candles at her birthday celebration.
A little more Texas football! Tomorrow Carter and Colton both have their very first flag football game.
In Branson, WhiteWater was "the beach within reach." But here in Houston, we really do have the beach within reach. Today we drove to Galveston Island - just about an hour away - and spent time at the beach. It was such a fun day...for the boys. OK, I had fun too but I am always fearful of the ocean. I watch constantly to make sure there are four heads above water.

Colton wanted to be buried in the sand...so we obliged!
Just couldn't get Holden to look at the camera.

  1. What a blast! Had Alexis over for dinner last week with Link Year people...talked about how much we miss y'all. Praying for you - for continued peace in the transition. xoxo
