This is another picture from our In-N-Out stop. Colton LOVES ketchup and the brothers all think it is gross how much he loves it. Exhibit A: Carter's face.
We stopped in Fort Worth for nights on our way to Branson. It is always great to see the Rapp family. Colton got some special cousin time with Emory.
They played dolls and went for a swim. Emory is so sweet to Collins.
Collins also got to spend some time with our newest cousin - Ruby Rapp. David and Nikki fostered her from birth and then were able to officially adopt her in May. Ruby is a Rapp forever! Isn't she adorable?!
Yay for girl cousins!
We arrived in Branson and made ourselves at home at the Martin's. My kids immediately started pulling out all the Nerf guns.
Holden also found a Darth Vader mask. Ha!
The Martin's were so sweet to host us! Kaylee had just returned home from Kamp, but she jumped right in with Collins and Holden. She even taught Collins how to read an alphabet book!
We love this friendship with Kerry and Chrissy Martin! They have been in our lives since we married and Chrissy was even one of Hunter's first babysitters at K2.
Rapp and Martin kiddos! Connor, Caleb, Kaylee, Colton, Hunter, Collins, Carter and Holden.
I think Collins loves girl friendships more and more. Last week Collins moaned, "Why do I have so many brothers?!" She was very taken with Kaylee and didn't want to leave.
And this picture, well, it is a sweet story. I won't tell it all on the blog, but Connor showed great kindness and sought no praise or recognition for his gesture.
Of course no Branson visit would be complete without time with the Engrams. We were able to tour the construction site for Fritz's. It is the coolest attraction that Matt Engram is building in Branson. Cole and Connor had fun exploring.
Endless fun with construction stuff like this giant tube.
A quick lunch at Fuddrucker's and then we were headed for Kamp.
Time to check in at K-1. Carter and Colton got introduced to their counselors on stage. Both were asked what they liked best about kamp: Carter said getting wet, and Colton said having fun!
Time to move in to their cabins. This was Carter "acting" excited, when really he was upset about a few cabin mates.
One picture with mom before it was time to say good-bye.
Then we drove out to K2. The drop off is so different at the big kids kamp. This was the best picture I got of Hunter and Connor being introduced, then they were whisked away and we barely got to say good-bye.
We ran into our friend Grace Munford in the K2 dining hall.
Collins posed sweetly on the porch of the K2 health center while Todd took Colton in to have the doctor look at his mouth. He had an infection on his tongue that was causing him lots of pain.
Finally, we drove to Bentonville, AR to spend the night before returning to Texas. We ate dinner at a Cracker Barrel and I snapped this picture. It was so quiet and so peaceful with just the Littles. We are loving our time with Collins and Holden.
