An opossum scared the wits out of KK! My mom was washing windows when this animal appeared on the fence behind our house. Ew! Even worse were the three babies that she was carrying on her body.
We got a new rug for the school room. My mom and I had been at Target a day before and she had picked out this rug but I said no because I wasn't sure that I liked it enough. So...I bought a different rug, brought it home and found out that no one liked the one I picked. They all preferred this red and white chevron rug. KK was right the first time! It is bright and cheery for our studies.
This kids went swimming in a lukewarm hot tub. They had fun any way.
Cute Rapp kids for sure!
Grandad brought new t-shirts for Holden and Collins from his medical school reunion in Galveston. I tried to get a picture of them in their shirts and send it to Tommy, but Collins was not in a good mood this morning.
This snail was crossing our sidewalk today and Connor took pictures and vidoes of "Turbo!"
Finally, Connor's teacher sent me this picture of Connor and his buddies having lunch at school. Left to right are Luke, Caden and Connor.

The blessing of family
This past week we had the privilege of having not only my parents in Houston, but also a visit from Tommy and Barbara. This was a first for our kids! They have never had both sets of grandparents together at the same time. The title of this post is so true. We are richly blessed by the family that surrounds us and loves us so much.
Celebrating Connor!
Connor is writing a book. He has been at it for quite a long time. The title of the book is Perry: War of the Rodents. For weeks he had been asking if we could celebrate when he reached 50 pages. Well, he made it and so we got him a cookie cake. He loved it!

Todd
Look at this guy! What a husband...what a dad! I wrecked the Expedition and it has been in the shop so he has been riding a bike to work so that I can use the minivan during the day. So very unselfish! I'm thankful for him every day. Love you Todd!
Holden is 2!
Our amazing, delightful, adorable, miracle boy turned two last Wednesday! We love our Holden and are so thankful for his life and that he is a part of our family. Here are some pictures from last week when Boompah and KK were in town.
Oops, Holden spilled almost the entire bag of Pirate Booty.

Rats! That stuff is good and now I can't eat it.
For Holden's birthday we got Crave cupcakes. So yummy and a great birthday treat.
As you can tell, he loved the candles! Colton was trying to show him how to blow them out.
Why not have a popsicle after your cupcake?
We love you HOLDEN ELIJAH RAPP!
Baseball season
Colton is excited that it is baseball season once again. He is on the Texas Rangers team again this year and is playing pitcher. It is so fun to go to his games.
iFLY in Houston
For Christmas the boys got iFLY gift cards and we finally used them! We scheduled their flights for my parents' visit to Houston so that they could see the boys skydive. What a fun adventure it was. All four boys loved it and are hoping that they can go back again sometime.
Holden was cheering for his brothers.

How convenient - the suits have handles on the back.
A picture to capture the memory after their flights.
A future iFLY participant.
