Colton acting silly!
Collins and Jon Jon in the office.
I have to hold her hands down so she won't pull headbands off.
Basketball on the K-Seven floating dock.
Colton and his sweet friend Emma. She was at K-West for a week when her dad was the Kamp doctor.

Big Day at the Pool
Yesterday I finally sucked it up and put on my swimsuit. I hadn't taken Collins to the pool yet and I figured it was time. So, here are pictures to document her first time in the pool! Oh, Colton did tell me, "Mom that is an awesome outfit!" about my cover up.
This was right after she had been splashed by the K-West "Water Buffaloes" who were practicing for the London Games party.
But most of the time she was content. She didn't love it, but just hung out in her floatie.
She was happy to get out.
Another big event was Colton's first time to swim without a lifejacket. He was nervous at first, but Stephen Shireman was so helpful. I think he gave Colton the extra confidence he needed to go for it.
Yes, success! Swimming from the diving board to the ladder.

Friends!
These pictures are from May, but I am just now getting to them. During Staff Training we took the whole K-West staff to K-Kauai for a kickball tournament. We invited the Engram boys to join us for that night. The Rapp boys loved having their buddies there.
Here they are: Hunter, Hayden, Max, Connor, Cole, Colton, Carter and Jake.
Getting ready to play some kickball. I'm not sure if Carter is stretching or preparing to kick.
Run Carter!
Props to Kevin Smith! He was the referee for the official K-West kickball game, but then jumped in to help ref the Engram/ Rapp kickball game. Here he was following the play to make the call...with his dinner in his hands. He made the boys feel so special
Collins was there too - with hiked up shorts!
This was funny! One of the kickball teams had used Bandaids for each player. Well, the boys pounced on those Bandaids and started putting them all over their faces.
Here they are sporting their Bandaids!

That's the way she rolls...
This is a very common pose for Miss Collins. And I definitely don't want to forget it. She loves to kick her little foot up while eating and prop it on her high chair tray. Don't you also love the Cheerio sticking out of her mouth? Oh what a cutie!
Adventure on the Lake
Colton does miss his brothers...but he has loved these last two weeks! Each day he gets to pick what he wants to do and he gets lots of mom and dad time. Yesterday Colton wanted to ride the banana boat, so Todd convinced me to come with him on the boat. I would be the spotter. I must admit, I'm not a huge fan of the lake. In fact this was the first time all summer that I had been out on the lake (and I live at a summer camp on Table Rock Lake!)
Anyway, everything started great, and I snapped a few cute pictures of Colton, but then we ran out of gas. Oops! We managed to flag down a K-Seven boat driver and he went for help. We drifted for a bit, Colton tried to paddle, but in no time we were rescued by Caleb Arnold, one of the K-West dock daddies. Perhaps the funniest part was the ride back. Due to a short rope and the stream of water that shoots out of the back of the jet ski, the boat was being filled up with water as Caleb towed us in. Todd loved it - in fact he sat right where the water would hit him! I huddled underneath the boat windshield and tried to stay dry. Colton went from loving it to hiding under a lifejacket. It was a funny experience and a great memory!
This was after we had run out of gas and Colton was climbing up into the boat.
Standing on the banana boat - of course we weren't moving.
This was when we did have gas. Just departing the K-West dock.

Hunter
Hunter must be having a great time at Kamp! He has a giant smile on his face in every single picture that I see. We can't wait to hear about his adventures at K-Kountry.

Connor at K-Kountry
All of these pictures were from the K-Kountry blog this week. I loved seeing my sweet boy Connor + cousin Dalton. Looks like they had a fun day on the lake!
Connor is in the blue life jacket on the left, Dalton is next to him.
Acting goofy on the tube.
Mr. Serious.
A great ski trip!
