Fort Worth Rodeo and Stock Show

This week we made a quick trip to Fort Worth to take the kids to the rodeo and stock show. It was worth the drive because all the kids loved the rodeo and also getting to see family in Fort Worth. We left Houston on Wednesday afternoon and stopped in College Station for some Dickey's Barbecue. I got Colton to take this picture so that we could send it to his buddy Dylan who loves the Aggies. Just doing our part to keep the rivalry strong!

On Thursday morning Todd took Collins and Holden to the stock show while I did school with the boys. The little ones enjoyed the animals and a chance to wander around the stock show grounds with Todd. This picture looks like Holden was showing off some serious dance moves in the petting zoo.

We had tickets to the rodeo on Thursday night. We took our four boys and our cousin Dalton. It really was a great show and so fun to see all the different events. The boys really liked the chuck wagon races.

This was our "date night" picture. It was a delightful evening with Todd!

I bought Collins a pink cowgirl hat since she didn't get to come to the rodeo. So I wore it for part of the evening.

When we finally arrived home, little miss was still awake and she was pretty excited about this pink hat. She asked us if she could go ride a horse.
