K-Kountry 2012

Yesterday we dropped the boys off at K-Kountry! They have been counting down the days as they waited for Term 3! We left K-West early, met up with some cousins who were also in town for K-Kountry and had lunch at Steak 'n Shake. Connor had been feeling weird all morning, but at lunch he really started feeling yucky. We gave him some medicine and let him sleep for about 45 minutes before heading over to K-Kountry. He managed to make it through introductions, but then we took him to the Health Center. Turns out that Mr. Connor has strep. He spent last night in the Health Center and will be there again tonight. He did start an antibiotic so hopefully he can get out tomorrow. He was so sad because he just kept thinking about all of the stuff he would miss at K-Kountry while he was sick.

Carter was nervous for about five seconds, but as soon as his counselor swept him off that podium he was full throttle excitement!
