LINK End of the Year Party

This year we have been fortunate to be a part of a really fun home school group called LINK. This week LINK organized an end of the year party. The original plan was to have a cookout, but due to rain the party was moved indoors...to Skate World! None of the Rapp boys have much experience with skating, but they all tried hard - especially Hunter! I loved roller skating when I was a kid and I told Todd that I don't remember the hard parts of learning to skate, I just remember skating. Maybe someday the boys will be able to say the same. Skate World did allow the kids to bring scooters, tricycles, etc. so that those who can't skate can still have fun!

Collins enjoyed riding a wiggle racer out on the floor.
Love her face in this picture!
Time for Limbo. Colton tried a few times with a Razor scooter.
Carter tried several different methods. First he rode under the pole on this thing. It is like a walker that elderly people use, but this was made to assist skaters.
Then Carter tried skates, but no luck! He couldn't make it a single step without falling.
Good job Hunter!
The boys spent a lot of time getting up after falling down.
Much easier with this to stabilize you.
