Daddy Daughter Dance

Grace Bible Church held its annual Daddy Daughter Dance this weekend. Though she is just two, Collins was excited to go to the dance with her dad. I loved the process of getting her ready. We painted her nails, spent time curling her hair and put on her best party dress and tights. She loves tights! She was a princess indeed.
A picture of her hair - this one's for you KK! You spent so many hours curling our hair when we were girls!
Handsome daddy and his little girl all ready to go!
Todd said that Collins was fairly reserved throughout the evening, but she did loosen up for a couple of the songs. She also enjoyed the bubbles and the candy. GBC brought in a food truck which was extra fun. It was called The Golden Grill and it served all kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches. Yum!
Lots of snacks on this table for the dads and daughters.
Perhaps a favorite memory was when they came home from the dance. Collins was greeted at the door by mommy and all of her brothers. She happily answered all of our questions and showed us how she had twirled around in her dress at the dance. It was precious!
