Collins, Todd and Us!

Our greatest buddy Jon Jon came to visit us in Houston this weekend! And he brought his sweet friend Blaire along too. It was so good to see him. All of the Rapp boys have fun memories of days spent with Jon Jon when we were at K-West. While they were here, Jon Jon and the boys played catch and Blair swang with Collins. (FYI, swang is the weirdest word!) Holden was swinging too. Can you find him?

Collins was just waking up from her nap when Jon Jon arrived. Connor had gone to get her from her room and he said, "Collins, guess who is here?!"  She said, "Jesus?"

I have officially decided that my husband is a Jedi master when it comes to kids. He is amazing! Today I was trying to get Collins ready to go to Bible Study with me. She was determined to wear her flip flops (with socks) to church. I could not convince her to switch shoes. Enter Todd. He began to reason with her as he explained that her toes/ socks would get dirty if she wore her flip flops. Next thing I hear is Collins telling Todd, "I wear my tennis shoes, not flip flops." He answered back, "That is a great idea Collins. You are so smart." Problem solved.

And finally, Todd and I celebrated 14 years of marriage today. This is us, sitting in Walgreens tonight waiting on a prescription for one of the boys. We laughed at how romantic our evening was, but I'd rather be at Walgreens with him than anywhere else, with anybody else. I pray that God continues to make me the wife that Todd needs.
