Houston Oaks

Today was such a fun Saturday! We spent most of the day with a GBC family - Matt and Melissa Morris and their four boys. It rained just a bit in the morning, but overall the day was beautiful as we gathered at Houston Oaks Country Club. The kids played on a playground, did some fishing, played kickball and then spent more than an hour playing on paddle boats, kayaks and paddle boards. I just kept thinking, "How can it be November 16th?" The weather was so nice it seemed like it was early in September.

Time for some fishing. Several of the boys actually caught something.

There were these huge, gorgeous Oak trees all over the property. They were amazing! It made me stand in awe once again of God's creation.

While the boys were fishing, Collins concentrated on the snacks.

 Micah Morris had the catch of the day with this four pound bass.
