More from May

Todd and I went to the Every Village Gala last week. It was a fun night out and a chance to see friends. It reminded me of our first season in Houston. That fall of 2013 we attended a couple of galas like this one and knew very few people. God has been so gracious to allow us to build friendships in Houston. We knew many of the families gathered this night. Here we are posing as Cy and Allision Cattan. We put on their nametags and took a picture so we could send it to them. We miss seeing these friends at the gala.
Serious Todd as Cy Cattan.
Connor snapped this picture of me when I was curling my hair for the Every Village event.
This picture is from Mother's Day. We went to church, then out for lunch and when we came home all the kids got out their bikes/ scooters and started riding around the neighborhood. It was sweet!

This was Mother's Day lunch. I wanted Vietnamese Pho. Most of the boys don't like it, but they were good sports....after some threatening words from Todd. Ha!

Todd and Connor escaped this weekend for a special father/ son trip. They traveled to Fredericksburg to climb, explore and have some good bonding time. Plus they hit many of Connor's favorite restaurants - HuHot, In-N-Out Burger, mexican food. They also saw the movie Jungle Book.

Connor and his buddy Tyler did a little studying and a little ice-cream eating/ lounging in the pool.
We ventured out for Toddler Tuesday at Discovery Green. They were having characters from Disney's Inside Out movie and a story time. The kids cut out and glued the five emotions onto popsicle sticks. Colton liked Anger a lot!
Collins worked on her Inside Out artwork.

Both Collins and Holden got tattoos. Thank you Connor for the bunny ears!
Holden enjoyed a ZBar at home - and kicked his feet up on the table.
Time for science projects. Carter researched video games and reaction times. He has also been researching how to get the best "swoop" in his hairdo each morning.
Hunter practiced his presentation at home before taking it to school. He studied how different genres of music affect your running.
Super heroes on a home school day. Colllins, Colton and Holden were very into it!
Collins had two cavities so we had to take her in for fillings at the dentist. This was the contraption they used to give her the laughing gas.
