We spent Easter at home and did some fun activities with the boys. We did a morning devo to focus our hearts on the resurrection. We all need to be reminded that we celebrate a risen Savior who knows us, loves us and is working on our behalf. That has been so evident this week as we have seen God's providence in the midst of Holden's birth, my surgery and the way the body of Christ has rallied around our family. Though Holden isn't home with us, we celebrated the progress he has made in the NICU.
KK and the boys made Resurrection Rolls. Fun activity, great teaching points and a delicious treat!
In the afternoon, we recruited Bri Coon and Beth Ann Lampley (our K-Institute gals) to come help us do an Easter Egg Hunt. Collins enjoyed being outside and actually found one or two eggs. But she really enjoyed the trampoline.
Searching in the woods for those hidden eggs.
Such clever girls! They each tied an egg inside their shoe laces.
Aha! The boys discovered the egg on Bri's shoe.
Colton had a bucket full of eggs.
