Holden - 3/31/13

Happy Easter!!  I know it was for the Rapp family!
Just look at the picture below.  As we walked into the NICU, Holden's nurse proudly pointed toward his little bed because Holden's breathing tube had been removed. That's right, the ventilator came out today. Other highlights: we heard him cry, watched him suck on a pacifier and he was awake for a long time while we were there. And he is so dog-gone cute---- handsome, I mean!

This picture will be one of my favorites ever, I'm sure.  He has come so far. I just couldn't resist picking up the corner of Holden's bedding for this picture.  
We'd love it if you would continue to pray for Holden. On Monday the doctor will do another EEG (to compare against the first) and maybe even an MRI. Big day! Plus, we finally taking all the kids, and KK, to Springfield to meet Holden. The kids can't go into the NICU, but will just have to peek at him through an observation window. We are so excited and we are proud of Holden. But even more thankful for the progress God has allowed him to make. God be praised and honored at ALL times. He is worthy of all of our trust.
